What our training is, and — just as importantly — what it is not. Read this before you rely on anything published here.

01Training, not authorisation

Our courses teach skills and our certificates record that you were trained and assessed. Neither is a licence.

Nothing we issue authorises you to carry a weapon, to work as a close protection officer, or to perform any regulated role in any country. Those permissions come from the authority in the place you intend to work, under its own rules, and we make no representation that our training satisfies them.

It is your responsibility to know what the law requires where you intend to operate.

02No guarantee of employment

We do not promise work, placement, or introduction to an employer. Where a course page mentions career outcomes it is describing what past students have gone on to do, not a commitment about what you will.

03Risk

Protection training is physically demanding and some of it involves live firearms, vehicles and contact drills. Injury is possible even when every procedure is followed correctly.

By attending you accept that risk. You are responsible for declaring anything about your health that bears on it, and for holding your own travel and medical insurance.

05Information on this site

We work to keep course details, dates, fees and facility information accurate, but they change. Nothing published here is an offer capable of acceptance until we confirm your place in writing.

Photographs are illustrative. Where an image is a stock photograph rather than one of our own sites, it is used to show the kind of work described and not to represent a specific facility.

06Third parties

Where we link to another organisation, or where a course is delivered with a partner, we are not responsible for their content, conduct or policies.

07Certificates and verification

Every certificate we issue carries a unique number that anyone can check on our verification page.

If a certificate does not verify there, we did not issue it. We publish notices about individuals and organisations misrepresenting an association with us on our fraud alert page.
